Privacy notice
How we handle your information
This notice is a draft pending legal review.
We don't sell your information. Apart from asking Grid110 to confirm the drawing's winner is a fellow, we don't share it with Grid110, Blackbird Alliance or Blackbird House.
What this covers
The fellows' hub at academy.dropfly.io for the Blackbird Founders Fellowship, its registration form (your fellow's pass) and the drawing rules.
What we collect
When you register: your name and email; your business name and website or Instagram, if you give them; which kind of Dossier you'd want if you win the drawing; whether you're open to in-class sharing; and whether you want us to contact you about the founder rate.
The access code you type is checked and not stored. Like any website, our host records standard request logs, such as your IP address and browser type. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on the hub.
How we use it
- To email you the ebook AI for Startup Founders.
- To run the drawing, including asking Grid110 to confirm that the winner is an accepted fellow.
- To email you about the Week 2 class.
- To email you about the founder rate, only if you ask us to.
We don't add you to a newsletter.
Who handles it
The services that run the site for us: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (sending email) and Google (the DropFly inbox where Rio receives a copy of each registration). Apart from asking Grid110 to confirm the drawing's winner, we don't share your information with Grid110, Blackbird Alliance, Blackbird House or anyone else.
Your choices
Email rio@dropfly.io to see what we have about you, correct it, or have us delete it. We'll delete your registration from our database and the registration emails from our inbox, and confirm by email.
The site doesn't track you across other websites, so a browser's Do Not Track setting doesn't change anything here. The hub is for fellows, who are adults; it isn't meant for children.
Changes and contact
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. Questions go to rio@dropfly.io.
